Building a new home can feel daunting, but we’ve perfected a uniquely streamlined and thorough process that will keep you informed, excited and worry-free every step of the way.  It's a big reason why our homebuyers continually rate us high in customer service and satisfaction.  When you choose Keller Homes, you’re partnering with a local, family-owned company with nearly thirty-five years of experience. Here's what you can expect when building with us.

SALES & FINANCING

As excited as we are to tell you our story, we're even more interested in learning yours.  When you visit one of our model homes or sales offices for the first time, you'll know you're in a different kind of place.  Our service-focused team approach ensures you end up with the right new home for you, even if it's not in the first community you visit.  Our New Home Consultants will help you evaluate all your options (from homesites to floor plans and beyond) and answer all your questions. We’ve partnered with three proven local lenders, who provide smart home mortgage products based on our home buyer's goals.  Our lenders wrap it all together for you, with seamless quality and service.

After you’ve signed a contract, your dedicated salesperson will provide you with weekly construction email updates (from site preparation to interior trim).  Of course, you're welcome to visit your new home throughout the build process when accompanied by a member of our team.

DESIGN STUDIO SELECTIONS

Our extensive, award-winning Design Studio, and the experience of working with our Design Specialists in a no-pressure environment, is unlike any in the region.  But you don't have to take our word for it.  Before you ever sign on the "dotted line," we offer the unique opportunity to visit our showroom for a preview of all the features and opportunities you'll have as a homebuyer. 

Once you've made the decision to build with us, you'll benefit from a thoughtfully organized series of meetings, in which our trained specialists will help you narrow your choices to get a look all your own.  In addition to design finishes, we set up a private meeting for you with our preferred electrical, low voltage and lighting vendors before they begin work so you can personalize your wiring needs to maximize the livability of your home.

Operations

Before we begin construction, we bring members of our operations, sales, and design team together to review every detail of your home one more time.  Once the paperwork has been finalized and processed, no additional changes can be made.  This ensures delivery of your home on time and exactly as you personalized it. Our company-wide computer-tracked construction scheduling system is state-of-the-art.  It assures the correct sequencing of activities, which in turn allows each trade partner to perform work in an efficient and timely manner to meet our quality expectations.

We perform mandatory inspections at several key points in the building process to ensure quality at every phase.  Our field superintendent handles some of these inspections.  Others are conducted by our independent Quality Assurance Department, which goes above and beyond the inspections required and regulated by the building department.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

At key points during the construction process, you’ll have the opportunity to walk through your home with our team of pros. The first walkthrough is at framing, just before the drywall stage.  A quality expert will demonstrate the progress and technology of your home to-date.  You'll leave with a thorough understanding of the framing, heating, plumbing, low-voltage wiring, electrical, insulation, and specialty items installed to this point.

When your home is complete, you’ll have a new home orientation and walkthrough with your Customer Service Representative to help you familiarize yourself with your home, learn maintenance procedures, and ask questions. 

Our dedication to customer service doesn’t stop at closing. We initiate a meeting 45 - 60 days after closing and then again at eleven months, to answer any questions you may still have.  It's a proactive approach to ensuring your satisfaction with your new Keller Home.
